Buying is Emotional Not Logical

Updated: Sep 28, 2022

We assume buyers are intentional, logical.

Most buying decisions are are in fact emotional.

They may purchase a home based on reasons even the buyer can't pinpoint. But, we have a good idea what conditions a home needs to meet to catch a good buyer.

There are 3 questions that need to be answered within seconds of walking in the door:

1) Has this home been well-maintained?

2) Will this home cost me more time and money than it's worth?

3) Can I see myself living here?

Remember when you bought your home? How long did it take you to think, "This could be the one."?

The average buyer has made up their minds within 8 seconds of entering a home.

If all you manage to do is deep clean and detail the entryway, inside and outside and remove your personalized items, like pictures, backscratchers and notes, you'll be ahead of the game.

Keep in mind those three questions as you prep your home for sale. If you need help, call us at Home Settings LLC 541-246-9985.
